Pay Rate: $23.00 per hour

Schedule: 12-hour first shift schedule, typically 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Rotating schedule with 3.5 days on / 3.5 days off

Start and end times may vary by approximately one hour based on business needs

• Communicate daily with customers, drivers, and leadership teams
• Verify driver paperwork and close out completed loads
• Review backhaul reports and route missed backhauls
• Monitor and update stop types for accuracy
• Plan and coordinate salvage and backhaul opportunities
• Confirm purchase order and appointment requirements
• Build and maintain load boards
• Coordinate shuttle moves and pallet deliveries
• Monitor driver call-offs and assist with coverage planning
• Track and confirm PTO requests
• Support daily routing and transportation operations

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Additional customer service, business, or office training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software systems
• Ability to provide professional, courteous, and solution-focused customer service.
• Experience using computers, business software, and data entry systems.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service, call center, retail, office support, or administrative experience is preferred.
• Experience working with CRM software, order processing systems, or customer databases is beneficial.
• Bilingual communication skills may be considered an asset depending on the position.
• Individuals who demonstrate patience, professionalism, adaptability, and excellent communication skills are well positioned for success as a Driver Dispatch Clerk.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to remain seated or stand for extended periods while assisting customers.
• Frequent use of computers, telephones, and standard office equipment.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and business partners.
• Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and data entry tasks throughout the workday.
