Manager Regional Sales

Manage the Sales activities of the Specialty Vehicles Orlando Dealers (Multi-Brand) and Direct Sales Representatives in the assigned area of responsibility (AOR), including inbound order forecasts, sales activity levels, sales performance, Specialty Vehicles Orlando Brand Product training, regional budget and asset management. The primary role of this position is to manage the sales pipeline and the implementation of regional strategic plans.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Direct the activities of Specialty Vehicles Orlando Dealers and Direct Sales Representatives, which includes new business development, generating new business, bid/quotation support for each Specialty Vehicles Orlando Brand as appropriate within the assigned AOR.
• Provide Multi-Brand Product training as required to support current Specialty Vehicles Orlando Dealers and Direct Sales Staff in assigned AOR. Will include hands-on Customer calls with either Dealer's Staff or Direct Sales Representatives.
• Implement the On-Boarding Process as defined for a new Specialty Vehicles Orlando Dealer within the assigned AOR.
• Strategic analysis of both pending transactions as well as future opportunities within the AOR with the Specialty Vehicles Orlando Brand Dealers and Direct Sales Representatives, with focus on the non Specialty Vehicles Orlando Brand competitors for conquest opportunities.
• Customer service/retention through customer contact and interaction.
• Responsible for coordinating marketing efforts with Specialty Vehicles Orlando Staff for the Specialty Vehicles Orlando Brands represented in the assigned AOR. To include regional strategies and provide feedback for the corporate marketing plan to improve AOR Sales performance.
• Attend regional industry shows and participate in appropriate customer events and programs to maintain visibility.
• Coordinate sales of new build, stock, and demo vehicles. Work with dealers and direct sales to facilitate process.
• Perform timely reporting on Dealer's and Direct Sales Representatives customer call activities, pipeline management, quotes, bids, and forecasts to VP of Sales for Specialty Vehicles Orlando within the assigned AOR.
• Coordinate with Specialty Vehicles Orlando Staff to ensure appropriate representation during Key customer inspections and plant tours.

Qualifications/Training:

• Must have excellent presentation skills, ability to apply specific knowledge from ems/fire/rescue market.
• Knowledge of competitors, extensive knowledge of ambulance products and component assemblies.

• Working independently in the absence of supervision.

• Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships.
• Understanding manufacturing processes and mrp systems.
• Must be computer literate and able to effectively use Microsoft office business suites.
• Demonstrated an ability to lead people and get results through others.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, blue prints, assembly drawing, schematics and other written or verbal instructions presented in English.
• Candidate must possess excellent organizational and management skills.

• Meet the goals and objectives of the sales department as assigned by the department head.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 40%-50% as business needs require.

Education/Experience:

B.S in Business administration, management, or finance.

5 years of successful sales experience in emergency equipment sales and/or EMS and/or Fire Rescue experience.

2 years of managerial experience.
