Process Technician

Job Summary
This position is responsible for providing maintenance support to a Bubble and Foam Extrusion Plant. The candidate will utilize a CMMS system to kit parts and supplies for preventative maintenance tasks. The candidate will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks and support in general facility upkeep. This position will also maintain part stock levels and organize maintenance parts warehouse. The candidate should possess advanced computer skills, have a good work ethic, and be safety minded with the ability to work in a group environment or independently. A basic understanding of Continuous Improvement is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 per hour starting rate, with higher pay available based on experience

Shift: Morning - Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Overtime as needed

* Pull, count, verify, and organize parts according to maintenance work orders.
* Verify part numbers and quantities using CMMS system.
* Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment as needed
* Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
* Perform overhauls and preventative maintenance inspections on machinery and equipment.
* Rebuild equipment components.
* Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
* Accept personal responsibility for condition of assigned equipment.
* Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
* Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.

• HS Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Manufacturing Maintenance or related field.
• Experience using CMMS or part inventory systems
• Work from work orders, samples, special instructions, specification books, other verbal or written instructions, and own knowledge of procedures and practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, familiar with mechanical and minor electrical repair work and parts maintenance
• Ability to drive a forklift, scissor lift and boom lift
• Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Safety conscious mindset.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Able to frequently lift to 40lbs.
• Able to constantly work in a non-conditioned environment.
• Ability to climb ladders and safely move and organize inventory
