RCB Career Advancement Center is seeking (1) an Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships (Temp) to lead the Student Engagement and Program Management activities for the following Immersive Programs, under the direction of the Director of Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs, and with the support of a program manager.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships serves as a central operational resource supporting the successful execution of strategic partnerships, immersive programs, partner engagement activities, and special events across the Robinson College of Business.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships & Immersive Programs, this position works collaboratively with the Director of Strategic Partnership Management, Director of Strategic Partnership Management, and Director of Immersive Programs to coordinate projects, events, communications, data management, operational planning, and stakeholder engagement activities.

The position serves as the primary coordinator of cross-functional activities that support Panther Immersion Programs (PIP), RISE, CampusBridge, strategic partner engagements, partner-sponsored programming, case competitions, VIP campus visits, alumni events, and other experiential learning initiatives.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, service-focused, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

This is a temporary, time-limited position with the potential for future conversion to a full-time role pending institutional approval and available funding.

Essential Responsibilities:

Program and Partnership Operations Management (30%)

Serve as the primary operational coordinator supporting Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, implementation schedules, action-item trackers, and operational work plans.
  • Coordinate deliverables across multiple programs and stakeholders.
  • Monitor project milestones and identify potential risks, competing priorities, or resource conflicts.
  • Facilitate internal coordination meetings and maintain action-item documentation.
  • Manage shared departmental calendars and key milestone schedules.
  • Support annual planning processes and implementation tracking.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, operating procedures, templates, and implementation guides.
  • Coordinate project activities involving faculty, staff, students, employers, alumni, vendors, and partners.

Event Planning and Execution (30%)

Lead logistical planning and operational execution for a broad range of Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and manage event work plans and implementation schedules.
  • Coordinate room reservations, transportation, catering, registration, vendors, supplies, signage, and program materials.
  • Create run-of-show documents, staffing plans, speaker briefs, and event communications.
  • Support on-campus and off-campus events including:
    • Panther Immersion Programs activities: Mocktail, Super Days Interviews, Summer Learning Series, Corporate site visits
    • RISE activities, including professional development programs
    • CampusBridge onboarding and facilities support
    • Partner-sponsored events, VIP campus visits
    • Alumni engagement events
    • Departmental case competitions and events as needed
  • Provide real-time event management and troubleshooting support.
  • Assist with expense tracking, purchasing coordination, invoice processing, and budget reconciliation.

Student Engagement (15%)

Support operational execution of student-facing immersive learning initiatives, including Panther Immersion Programs, RISE, and CampusBridge, and Strategic Partner talent recruitment activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate student communications and outreach.
  • Support information sessions and recruitment events.
  • Coordinate application review logistics and interview scheduling.
  • Manage participant records and event registration processes.
  • Coordinate student onboarding and pre-program requirements.
  • Assist in preparing itineraries, schedules, participant materials, resume books, and event resources.
  • Support travel logistics and coordination for Panther Immersion Programs experiences.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student participation.

The Director of Immersive Programs retains responsibility for program strategy, learning design, student selection decisions, and overall program outcomes.

Partner and Stakeholder Coordination (10%)

Provide operational support to partner, sponsor, alumni, and university stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate meetings and stakeholder communications.
  • Support preparation of presentations, reports, proposals, and briefing materials.
  • Track partnership-related activities and implementation commitments.
  • Support partner recognition and stewardship activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for employer visits and partner-sponsored events.
  • Assist with proposal implementation and partnership launch activities.
  • Support invoicing, documentation, and partnership reporting activities.

The Director of Strategic Partnership Management retains responsibility for relationship management, business development, sponsorship development, and partnership strategy.

Reporting, Data Management, and Continuous Improvement (10%)

Support data integrity, assessment, and operational reporting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain student, host, partner, alumni, and program records.
  • Support survey administration and data collection.
  • Compile participation and outcome data for reporting purposes.
  • Maintain alumni engagement databases.
  • Assist with dashboard and report preparation.
  • Monitor data quality across various systems and trackers.
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency and scalability.

Student Assistant and Volunteer Coordination (5%)

Coordinate and supervise student assistants, graduate assistants, and volunteers supporting Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs activities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delegate project and event-related tasks.
  • Monitor completion of assignments.
  • Develop task schedules and work priorities.
  • Train student workers on administrative processes and event support responsibilities.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of student worker deliverables.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and five years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
