The Medical Director will provide collaboration and oversight of the other providers, along with backup coverage when the Psych NP is out.

Medical Director - Part-time, 8 hours per week M-F

Compensation -

Expected starting Employee wage range - $155 - $194 / Hourly

Independent Contractor wage range - $202 - $252 / Hourly

Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.

Independent Contractors are not eligible for company benefits and must provide their own malpractice insurance.

What You Will Do to Change Lives

The Medical Director is responsible for the coordination and supervision of the medical and psychiatric care provided at the facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that the care provided is consistent with best practice and meets Telecare's standards of excellence.

What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)

* A minimum of 5 years clinical experience in the treatment of adults with serious mental illness, including those with comorbid medical and/or substance use disorders
* A medical degree from a medical school accredited by the American Medical Association or the American Osteopathic Association and successful completion of residency training program in psychiatry
* An active California Medical License, in good standing
