BHCC seeks full-time faculty who demonstrate a passion for teaching and a desire to join faculty and staff in expanding and creating new strategies for student success. Candidates should be passionate educators who can meet the needs of diverse learners. BHCC also seeks faculty who value advising students and wish to contribute fully to the life of the College. Faculty must be flexible and willing to teach courses at one or more of the College's locations, including day, evening, and weekend schedules as needed. Full-time faculty member in the Department of Business Administration, responsible for teaching and curriculum development in Management, Marketing, general Business, and computer applications coursework, including MS Windows and MS Office (CIT 110 - Applications and Concepts). Responsibilities:
- Teach and develop curriculum in the Business Administration Department, with primary responsibilities in Management, Marketing, general Business, and CIT 110 (Applications and Concepts), covering MS Windows and MS Office.
- Evaluate student performance using outcomes-based assessments.
- Employ a variety of appropriate teaching strategies to promote students' critical-thinking skills, and develop instructional materials consistent with course objectives.
- Participate in program assessment and analysis to determine appropriate goals and objectives for Management, Marketing, and Business courses, and assist in the ongoing development of course standards.
- Use new technologies in the classroom, as appropriate, to facilitate learning.
- Maintain expertise and currency in area of teaching as appropriate for the industry.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
- Teach in different modalities, such as online, hybrid, and remote.
- Actively participate in Business Administration Department service and initiatives, and demonstrate a commitment to collaboration that contributes to department growth.
- Actively participate as a faculty member in the general College community and fulfill duties as stipulated in the MCCC Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business or a relevant field of study.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
- Demonstrated ability to teach CIT 110 (Applications and Concepts), including proficiency with MS Windows and the MS Office suite.
- At least five years of practical experience in the field of business.
- Experience with and understanding of anti-bias and culturally responsive education.
- Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student population.
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's degree in Business or a relevant field of study.
- Three (3) to five (5) years of teaching experience, preferably at the college level.
- Demonstrated ability to teach CIT 110 (Applications and Concepts), including proficiency with MS Windows and the MS Office suite.
- At least five years of practical experience in the field of business.

Additional Information: Salary: $60,483- $65,164 (Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate with Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement.) Review Date: October 7, 2026
