Position Title: Soiled Linen Assistant
Wage: $17.57 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 5:00am-1:30pm QPS Employment Group has a great Soiled Linen Assistant position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire. Responsibilities: - Sort soiled linens as they enter the facility and place items into designated bins or areas for washing and drying. - Spray carts with disinfectant and wipe down carts and work areas to maintain sanitation standards. - Load and unload laundry items from washers, dryers, carts, and conveyor systems. Requirements: - Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, talk, and hear throughout the shift. - Frequent repetitive use of hands and arms for sorting, folding, feeding machines, and handling linens. - Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and move linens and materials up to 50 pounds. - Ability to work in hot, humid, and fast-paced production conditions.
