As a Security Officer Full Time Driver Reception Security in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a financial institution location, you will be a welcoming, visible presence, supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. You will help to deter incidents through attentive observation, professional service, and timely reporting while representing Allied Universal's agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture. This is a driving post.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at a front desk location within a financial services environment while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting and screening visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing individuals according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor, employee, vendor, and/or delivery logs and communicate access concerns or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying appropriate contacts.
• Help to deter unauthorized access by maintaining a professional presence at the front desk and observing activity in the assigned area.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
