Sr. Director of Supply Chain

The Sr. Director of Supply chain is a build-and-scale role, not a fully mature enterprise executive role. The right candidate may be stepping into their first true executive role, provided they have demonstrated the ability to lead cross-functionally, build systems, develop people, and operate close to the work.

This is not a traditional corporate procurement role. The company needs an operating-system builder: someone who can professionalize supply chain management, drive ERP and process discipline, develop the existing team, improve planning and materials execution, strengthen supplier performance, and help create consistent operating standards across plants without losing the customer intimacy that differentiates TCF.

The Sr. Director of Supply Chain is expected to lead the enterprise supply chain organization.

• Materials management
• Planning
• Buyers / procurement execution
• S&OP / planning cadence
• Supplier performance and supplier development
• Supplier quality
• Corporate quality
• ERP process adoption for supply chain and materials
• Inventory and working capital performance
• Supply chain process standardization across plants
• Cost reduction and cost-savings culture

The role will have formal authority over materials managers, buyers, and planners. It will also have strong influence and governance authority over inventory control and receiving standards, even where those resources may remain plant-owned.
