Student Worker Dietetic Clerk

Description

The University of Iowa Health Care department of Food and Nutrition Services is seeking a Student Dietetic Clerk to provide assistance to the dietitian and nutrition support to patients. Directs the work of service assistants for specific patient areas; educates patients and/or significant others on designated diets. Duties require the ability to exercise responsible judgement in routine and emergency situations, and the ability to meet deadlines.

For student worker jobs with University of Iowa Health Care there is a maximum number of hours you may work. Under a student worker appointment, you are limited to a maximum of 680 hours of work on a fiscal year basis. This limit is a cumulative threshold for any and all non-permanent appointments under the Board of Regents Merit System.

Schedule: Schedules can vary between the hours of 7:00am-5:00pm

Hourly Wage: $19.09

Minimum Eligibility Requirements

• Two years of post-secondary education with a major in Dietetics
