Purpose Statement / Position Summary

The PBS Reporting Analyst plays a vital role in analyzing and interpreting patient billing, claims, reimbursement, and revenue cycle performance data to provide insights that support informed decision-making and enhance strategic initiatives. This position develops and maintains financial reports, dashboards, scorecards, data visualizations, and actionable insights to effectively present findings to leadership and key stakeholders. The role monitors key performance indicators, identifies revenue trends, variances, denials, underpayments, workflow errors, and potential revenue leakage, and recommends data-driven process improvements to support timely reimbursement, revenue integrity, compliance, and operational performance. The position ensures data accuracy and integrity across reporting processes, utilizes business intelligence tools to streamline data analysis and reporting, and remains current on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and visualization. The position collaborates closely with billing, coding, finance, IT, clinical operations, and application teams to support reporting accuracy, system optimization, and alignment with payer requirements and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the Job

5. Keep the Director informed when problems may interfere with timely completion of work.

If approved for remote or hybrid work, adhere to all remote work agreement requirements, including maintaining productivity, responsiveness, confidentiality, secure handling of organizational and patient information, availability during scheduled work hours, and compliance with departmental expectations and applicable policies.

*Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.
