Task Force Operations Manager Hotel Operations Leadership \| Southern California Remote \| Up to 90% Travel The Opportunity Some hotel leaders build success at one property. This role is for an experienced hotel operator who can enter an unfamiliar environment, earn credibility quickly, support day-to-day operations, supervise associates, and leave the hotel stronger than they found it. 24Seven Hotels is seeking a hands-on Task Force Operations Manager to support assigned hotels and provide operational leadership across our portfolio. The primary focus is routine hotel operations, supervision of associates in their assignments, and guest satisfaction. Depending on the assignment, this leader may support Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance; serve as Manager on Duty; and supervise operating departments in the absence of the General Manager or Manager on Duty. This is a highly visible, travel-intensive opportunity for an adaptable hotel operator who thrives on variety and turns assessment into action. The Task Force Operations Manager may assist the General Manager by continually focusing on hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and associate development while communicating risks and progress clearly to property and corporate leadership. What You'll Do Deploy to assigned hotels, quickly assess operating conditions, establish priorities, and support routine day-to-day operations. Supervise Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and other operating departments as assigned, including serving as Manager on Duty when needed. Ensure guest satisfaction and efficient hotel operations by maintaining service standards, resolving issues, and supporting associates during high-volume or high-pressure situations. Support hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, labor productivity, expense management, and consistent operating execution. Use operating statements, labor and STR reports, guest feedback, audits, and performance metrics to identify root causes and improve results. Assist with transitions, openings, renovations, stabilization efforts, audits, and other priority assignments while keeping hotel operations moving. Build trust with hotel teams through visible leadership, clear expectations, recognition, coaching, associate development, and constructive accountability. Anticipate, prevent, identify, and resolve workplace and operational problems, escalating significant risks promptly. Keep property and corporate partners informed with candid updates on progress, priorities, risks, opportunities, and next steps. Close each assignment with documented results, unresolved risks, and a clear handoff that supports lasting success. What Success Looks Like You earn credibility quickly, create clarity when priorities compete, and deliver measurable improvement without losing sight of the people behind the performance. Hotel teams understand the plan, stakeholders know where things stand, and each assignment ends with stronger systems, clearer ownership, and momentum that continues after you leave. What You Bring At least three years of experience in a Rooms or Food & Beverage department within a hotel; or a four-year college degree and one to two years of hotel Rooms or Food & Beverage experience; or a two-year college degree and at least two years of hotel Rooms or Food & Beverage experience. Previous hotel management or supervisory experience is required. Familiarity with the inner workings of select-service properties across Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and Choice brands; experience with additional major brands is valued. Demonstrated ability to support profitability, labor productivity, guest satisfaction, brand compliance, and associate engagement. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with hotel systems and tools, including PMS, revenue platforms, guest-feedback systems, and related hospitality technology. Ability to work effectively in stressful, high-pressure situations and to anticipate, prevent, identify, and solve operational problems. Excellent guest-service orientation, strong communication and analytical judgment, and the ability to positively motivate associates. A calm, respectful, and decisive leadership style that builds trust across hotel, corporate, ownership, and brand relationships. The Travel This remote position is based within Southern California and supports hotels across the portfolio. Travel is required up to 90% of the time, often on short notice and for extended assignments. Candidates must be comfortable deploying where the business need is greatest, adapting quickly to different brands, markets, ownership structures, and hotel conditions, and working evenings, weekends, and holidays when an assignment requires it. What We Offer Competitive compensation based on a combination of relevant experience, specialized skills, qualifications, demonstrated results, and geographic location. $80,000 to $95,000 per year salary.
