Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Systems Engineer to support a fast-paced and expanding IT environment. As a Cloud Engineer for SC Data Center, you'll be responsible for improving the reliability and performance of cloud applications and cloud infrastructure, supports building the next generation of web applications and systems infrastructure, focusing on automation, availability and performance. This role will be an internal cloud expert and specialist within the multi-disciplinary agile development team and will implement both strategic cloud initiatives as well as immediate operational activities.

This role requires onsite work at our headquarters in Monroe, WI.

Qualifications

This role requires a strong, collaborative communicator with direct experience working with cloud engineering or cloud architecture. An ability to understand internal and external customer business requirements and responsible for building scalable solutions to suit. Ideally you will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Computer Sciences, Information Technology or related field and at least 3 - 5 years' related IT work experience. In addition, we are looking for:

* VM Management - Design, deploy, and manage virtual machines across a cloud environment
* Storage Solutions - Design and implement scalable and secure storage solutions using block storage, object storage, file storage systems, while also managing storage area networks
* Windows and Linux server administration
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, including Terraform
* Experience with automation tools, including Ansible
* PowerShell and/or Python scripting experience preferred
* Cloud architecture/engineering experience with Azure, AWS or Google (AWS preferred)
* DevOps experience would be helpful
* A broad understanding of IT technologies
* Preferred experience in Agile methodologies and/or processes
