Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary:

Organizes and implements a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated information systems. Executes activities related to the procurement of materials, parts and equipment. Monitors the cost and delivery performance of suppliers. Ensures security and accountability of inventory through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. Duties involve but are not limited to supply chain services, inventory control, import/export oversight, shipment of products, and third-party warehousing oversight. Ensues customer support and service commitments to business and customer service requirements are met. Serves as a liaison between finance, and operations teams to develop and coordinate product and process knowledge; provides data analysis in support of SOX compliance and production monitoring. Assists in the development of logistic plans and procedures. Identifies and implements cost savings initiatives with a foci on inventory, storage, and transportation optimization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end oversight and management of orders, inventory, and shipments through policies, and practices.
• Provide SOX compliance and budget support.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliation of API and bulk items.
• Provide purchase order maintenance from OTP through inventory receipt-order closure.
• Utilize key systems for information gathering supporting: inventory analysis, replenishment, forecasting, and import/export activities.
• Perform item set-up and maintenance.
• Perform Serialization - Track & Trace item set-up, maintenance, exception management, and reporting.
• Support business and departmental processes through metric maintenance and reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Develop and implement inventory management tools and metrics that improve existing process.
• Provide logistical oversight and coordination all supply lanes (International and Domestic).
• Support departmental process improvement initiatives (e.g. developing SOPs, Work Instructions, etc.).

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 1+ years of related experience.
• High School Diploma with 3+ years related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite Products. Proficiency with Access and Excel desirable.
• Pharmaceutical production planning, logistics, and inventory experience desirable.
• Demonstrated customer service acumen and the ability to interface with various organizations to achieve desired customer service results.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Availability to travel 5% of the time.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carry objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
• Position may require occasional bending, stooping, walking and standing to complete tasks.
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading.
• The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
• May be required to work in a clean and/or sterile laboratory environment occasionally, and wear personal protective equipment to include but not limited to: gloves, safety glasses or goggles, face shields, lab coats, aprons, ear plugs and mask to include respirators.

Compensation:

At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $62,000 to $77,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual's salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs.

The total compensation package for this position also includes other compensation elements such as stock equity awards, employee stock purchase programs and participation in our Company's discretionary annual bonus program.
