HR Generalist

As an integral member of the HR team, you will assume a wide variety of duties essential to maintaining a positive and productive workplace atmosphere. • Develop, review, and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures that ensure ongoing compliance with evolving employment laws while reinforcing business objectives.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to craft precise and compelling job descriptions that facilitate targeted recruitment of top talent.
• Lead thorough onboarding processes, providing new hires with in-depth orientation covering compensation plans, benefits programs, organizational culture, and job expectations to foster smooth integration and engagement.
• Maintain accuracy, security, and confidentiality of HR information systems by regularly auditing and updating employee records and personnel files.
• Manage financial aspects related to HR activities, including coordinating expense reimbursements, incentive programs, and benefits administration in partnership with finance and payroll departments.
• Ensure systematic organization, retention, and compliance of critical HR documentation such as recruitment records, workers' compensation claims, benefits paperwork, and pension information in adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Generate detailed reports and workforce analytics to monitor key HR metrics, compliance status, and emerging trends that inform strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
• Champion employee health, wellness, and engagement programs to boost morale and productivity, coordinating initiatives that promote a supportive and inclusive work environment.
• Facilitate training sessions and communications supporting the rollout of new HR initiatives and technology upgrades, ensuring stakeholder understanding and buy-in.
• Support and enhance workplace safety by enforcing safety policies, preparing for compliance audits, and cultivating a proactive culture of safety awareness.
• Oversee and coordinate performance appraisal and merit review cycles for hourly employees, ensuring fairness, transparency, and consistent evaluation standards.
• Leverage internal and government training resources to expand employee learning opportunities and career advancement pathways, fostering continuous professional growth.
• Contribute actively to the companywide One Komatsu HR policy standardization project, promoting consistency and harmonization of HR practices across multiple sites and regions.
• Ensure secure and compliant electronic management of all HR-related documents, safeguarding employee privacy and organizational data security.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred but not required
• At least five years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, with demonstrated expertise in employee relations, compliance adherence, and performance management.
• Proven ability to navigate employment law requirements and provide corrective guidance in complex human resource matters.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster effective conflict resolution and consensus building.
• Capacity to establish and maintain credibility and trust across all organizational levels, promoting collaborative working relationships.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel capabilities, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational aptitude with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Discretion and professionalism in managing confidential information and sensitive employee issues.

• Professional HR certifications such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
• Experience supporting human resources functions in industrial settings such as manufacturing, mining, construction, or heavy equipment sectors.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, workforce data analytics, and generation of comprehensive reporting.
• Prior involvement in supporting multi-site operations or regional HR initiatives.
