Salary: $110,000 - $125,000

What You'll Do

As a Quality Engineer III, you will drive product and process quality across manufacturing operations by reducing defects, improving performance, and supporting customer expectations. You'll collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to ensure quality excellence from launch through production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other quality tools
• Support APQP, PPAP/ISIR, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC processes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect and scrap reduction
• Serve as a quality liaison for customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Support new product launches, engineering changes, and process improvements
• Manage customer quality concerns and containment activities
• Analyze quality metrics and monitor manufacturing performance
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience with APQP, PPAP/ISIR, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field preferred
• Experience with IATF 16949, AIAG Core Tools, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Tier 1/OEM environments is a plus
• Stable work history preferred
