Overview
The Strategic Marketing Planner leads the development and execution of integrated go-to-market (GTM) plans across the U.S. business. This is a high-impact role responsible for connecting business objectives, market intelligence, customer insights, and marketing activation to deliver measurable commercial results. As a key member of the marketing organization, you will partner closely with Marketing Leadership, Sales, Training, Product Management, and Global Marketing teams to shape strategic priorities, guide marketing investments, and optimize the customer journey. You will play a critical role in bringing new products to market, driving integrated campaigns, and ensuring marketing efforts are aligned to business growth objectives. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with strong analytical capabilities, excels in a cross-functional environment, and has a proven track record of transforming insights into successful marketing programs and commercial outcomes. This position reports to the Director of Brand Management. This is a hybrid position that requires working onsite Tuesday/Thursday in our Somerset, NJ office.
Responsibilities
- Drive the process of developing and articulating the Oticon marketing plan, across all sales and marketing channels. Including annual roadmap to define what happens when, where and with which key segments.
- Own competitive insights for the US market and how we position up against competition.
- Develop semi-annual go-to-market plans informed by market trends, customer insights, competitive dynamics, and segmentation strategies.
- Priorities initiatives and activities based on commercial impact
- Create and maintain annual and multi-year marketing roadmaps that align business priorities, customer needs, and growth opportunities.
- Build integrated campaign and launch strategies for new product introductions and key business initiatives based on customer insights.
- Lead end-to-end campaign planning, including pre-launch, launch, and post-launch optimization activities.
- Develop and maintain a 12-24 month rolling marketing calendar to ensure strategic alignment and resource prioritization.
- Monitor market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and strategic recommendations.
- Leverage data and analytics to evaluate campaign performance and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
- Drive marketing excellence in the team and set new marketing standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in strategic marketing, commercial planning, brand management, or go-to-market strategy.
- Proven success developing and executing integrated marketing plans, product launches, and commercialization strategies.
- Experience translating business strategies and customer insights into growth-driving marketing initiatives.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, journey mapping, campaign planning, and channel strategy.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across functions.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and storytelling abilities.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $105,000 and $132,000 annual; however, while the salary range is effective as of the date of this posting, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to experience level, knowledge, skills, and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as bonus, commissions, or discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
