Security Guard Credential Control Driver

As a Security Guard Credential Control Driver in Hanover, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Valid Driver's License:
Candidates must possess a valid driver's license that complies with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This includes:
• A current and unexpired license.
• No significant driving offenses that would disqualify the candidate from driving for work purposes.
• Compliance with any additional state-specific regulations regarding driver's licenses.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor and control access points by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing approved individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, access-control events, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
