General Surgical Pathologist

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (USA).Quest Diagnostics is currently seeking a General Surgical Pathologist to join the well-respected collegial team of 16 pathologists covering four hospitals and a central laboratory in fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. This dynamic pathology group includes two hematopathologists, two cytopathologists, and four dermatopathologists, as well as subspecialty trained GI and Head and Neck surgical pathologists.

This key position includes rotation between the Burnham lab and hospital settings. Frozen sections and rapid on-site evaluations (ROSE) should be expected. There will be a mix of outpatient and hospital-based surgical pathology cases to include breast, GYN, GU, and GI, as well as some cytology cases (body fluids, urine, GI brushings, pap smears, etc). Those with any board-certified or subspecialty fellowship training in GYN, GU, Head and Neck, or GI are encouraged to apply.

• Pathologists with 1 to 3 years of experience preferred.

• Strong customer focus and understanding of laboratory operations.

• Ability to communicate with high level decision makers in the organization.

Requirements:

• Medical Degree required

• Board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and current unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Nevada or eligibility for licensure
