TSA SPP Training Manager

Culmen International is building a talent pipeline of experienced TSA SPP Training Managers to lead screening workforce training at future SPP airport locations throughout the United States.

The Training Manager will oversee the airport training program and its Security Training Instructors, Assistant Training Instructors, OJT coaches, and training processes, ensuring that screening personnel complete required training, certification, recurrent training, remediation, and professional development while maintaining operational readiness.

Lead implementation and management of the airport's TSA screening training program.

• Supervise STIs, ATIs, OJT coaches, and other personnel supporting training delivery.

• Coordinate new-hire, recurrent, remedial, return-to-duty, and specialized training.

• Track training, certification, OJT, and compliance requirements and maintain accurate records.

• Coordinate training requirements and schedules with TSA training personnel and Culmen operations leadership.

• Ensure training remains aligned with current TSA SOPs, directives, and nationally developed training requirements.

• Analyze operational and training performance to identify recurring gaps and develop corrective training.

• Monitor instructor and coach performance and promote consistent delivery across shifts.

• Integrate training requirements with operational staffing to minimize impact on checkpoint and baggage operations.

• Provide management with training metrics, compliance status, risks, and recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Significant experience managing aviation security, transportation security, law-enforcement, military, or other regulated operational training programs.

• Experience supervising instructors and managing classroom, practical, and OJT programs.

• Demonstrated knowledge of adult-learning principles, training compliance, certification tracking, and remedial training.

• Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.

• U.S. Citizen or U.S. National and ability to satisfy applicable TSA background and suitability requirements.

• Ability to work onsite at the assigned airport.

• Prior TSA SPP training-management experience.

• Current or prior STI qualification.

• Prior TSO/STSO or other TSA screening experience.

• Formal instructor-development or adult-learning certification.

• Experience with TSA training systems and screening certification requirements.
