This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Towne Centre Drive (San Diego, CA) and remote. UC San Diego Health's Information Services Manager for Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc)will oversee EHR workflows, device integration, and third-party applications as they relateto UC San Diego Health's inpatient, emergency, and Women and Infants departments. Thisrole will manage a team of Epic build analysts supporting Epic ASAP, Epic ClinDoc, EpicCase Management, and Epic Stork. The manager will work closely with operational leadership to design and develop solutions that improve inpatient workflows. This role will be responsible for leading the implementation, maintenance, support, and enhancement of new EHR tools. The manager will also lead and coordinate third-party application updates, maintenance, testing, and implementation. Candidates should have strong experience with Epic ASAP, ClinDoc, or Stork. This role would oversee the design, building, testing, and implementation of clinical application systems. Provide and coordinate support to clinical users through knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows, and clinical practice standards when adapting software to meet their needs. Works with clinicians to create or adapt written protocols. Prepares detailed specs encompassing clinical processes, information flow, risk and impact analysis. Will provide customer service, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities:

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $123,000 - $237,800 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $58.91 - $113.89 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable). | |
