Beverage Server - Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Embody Bally's Born to Entertain culture by creating a fun, welcoming, and engaging environment for every guest.
• Deliver exceptional food and beverage service while providing a memorable dining and entertainment experience.
• Build positive relationships with guests by anticipating needs, initiating conversation, and providing personalized service.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, beverages, wine selections, specialty cocktails, and daily promotions.
• Accurately enter orders, process transactions, and handle payments using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Verify guest identification in accordance with alcohol service laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure proper use of player loyalty cards and maintain compliance with company procedures.
• Complete opening, side work, and closing duties while maintaining attention to detail.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards throughout assigned service areas.
• Collaborate with fellow Team Members and leadership to ensure efficient operations and a seamless guest experience.
• Promote a positive team environment through professionalism, communication, and teamwork.
• Maintain awareness of potential safety hazards and immediately address concerns to ensure a safe environment for guests and Team Members.
• Attend pre-shift meetings prepared and informed of operational updates, promotions, and service initiatives.
• Maintain Bally's appearance, attendance, and service standards at all times.
• Accurately report tips and comply with all departmental and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

• Target Salary Range: $16.75/hr + tips

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• 
  
  Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  
  
• Stand and walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying noise levels, bright lights, large crowds, and high-volume guest interaction.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, Team Members, and leadership while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.

High School (preferred)

Must be 21 years of age or older (preferred)
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board (preferred)
Must be a high school graduate or equivalent (preferred)
Must have six months or more related experience (preferred)
Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays (preferred)
