Job Title: Marketing Manager III - Social Strategist Location: Remote or Onsite - Anywhere in the US
Duration: 12 Months
Education: Undergraduate degree preferred/minimum
Position Overview
We are looking for a Social Strategist to own how we show up across our social channels - the strategy behind what we publish, the audiences it reaches, and the growth it drives. This is a hands-on role for someone who has built audiences from the ground up and understands that real growth comes from starting conversations. The ideal candidate comes from a consumer-facing brand, where they had to earn attention rather than buy it. You should have experience building video-led, creator-driven social programs that people genuinely want to engage with, while understanding that each platform has its own language and pace. You will also help improve the social function by assessing existing tools, identifying gaps, and building a technology stack that enables more holistic audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Own organic social strategy and the content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
- Develop and publish platform-native, video-led content.
- Manage community engagement and response protocols.
- Source, brief, and measure creator/influencer programs.
- Assess and expand the social technology stack, including:
- Publishing
- Social listening
- Community management
- Creator management
- Reporting
- Own recurring performance reporting and make in-flight optimizations.
- Partner closely with brand, creative, product marketing, communications, and paid media teams.
- Ensure social is integrated into launches from the beginning.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in organic social strategy with hands-on ownership of content, publishing, and community across multiple channels.
- Proven track record of measurably growing audiences and engagement.
- Deep knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, Threads, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
- Experience creating video-first, platform-native content that has demonstrated performance.
- Ability to independently concept and write social content.
- End-to-end experience managing creator/influencer programs, including:
- Sourcing
- Briefing
- Brand safety
- Measurement
- An AI-native approach to social workflows and reporting.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience at a consumer or DTC brand where organic social drove awareness and affinity.
- Experience building a social function from an early stage, including the operational systems behind it.
- Experience handling sensitive topics and escalations in partnership with communications, legal, or support teams.
- Experience building and scaling multi-channel organic social programs.
- Experience managing creator/influencer programs with real budgets.
- Experience evaluating and expanding a modern social technology stack.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Has built and scaled an organic social audience.
- Is highly hands-on rather than strategy-only.
- Can create content independently without requiring extensive direction.
- Understands video, creators, community, and platform-specific content.
- Has experience operating across multiple social platforms.
- Can work with high autonomy and build systems where infrastructure is limited.
- Can make quick decisions in fast-moving, real-time social environments.
- Is comfortable working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.

Candidates may face:
- High autonomy with limited existing infrastructure.
