Job Title: Dock Auditor
Location: Rushville, IN 46173
Duration: 5+ Months (Possibility of extension depending upon business requirements and performance)
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday (weekends may be required, and start times may fluctuate based on workload).
Description:
- Dock Auditor: This is a critical position for detail and following quality specific directions.
- Pallets: This individual will ensure pallets are free of debris, ensure there is no evidence of mice.
- The pallet is stacked straight and wrapped tight with tail tucked, SU on each end of pallet matches the BOL, no broken bags or free floating kernels of seed, bag count matches amount on license plate.
- Ensure wooden pallet is PHI pallet and is in good repair and not missing stringers.
- Verify pallet count matches BOL.
Responsibilities:
- These positions are all physical in nature.
- These jobs require walking, climbing stairs, standing and sitting for long periods of time, working in elevated area, operating machines, repetitive movement, repetitive lifting up to 60 lbs, and exposure to all weather conditions (mud, rain, etc) and environmental conditions (heat, dust, cold, pollen, insects, bee stings).
- All positions will involve housekeeping responsibilities.
- Candidates need to be able to speak and read English, be safety conscious, follow directions, think critical, problem solve on the go, and be flexible.
- Candidates must be able to distinguish varieties of seed, based on size or color.
- Weekend and overtime hours will be required.
- Candidates must also participate in daily team meetings.
- Key Positions on the plant site: PPE requirements include over the ankle steel toe boots (employee supplied), safety glasses, gloves, hard hat, and hi-viz vest. (Client supplied).
- Employees are required to wear long pants and a shirt that covers the shoulders.
