Maintenance Lead - Weekday Days

Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career-driven, and customer-focused team, and we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Lead to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA on the Weekday Shift

This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical expertise, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and a passion for mentoring and leading a team. As a Maintenance Lead, you'll play a critical role in keeping our production equipment running smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while supporting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement. This role will be working Monday to Thursday 5:55AM-5:55PM.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring work orders are prioritized and completed effectively.

  Coordinate and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and improve reliability.

  Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC-controlled systems, including baggers, motors, drives, fryers, and packaging machines.

  Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies to support timely repairs.

  
  
• 
  

  Ensure compliance with GMP, OSHA, EPA, and Food Safety regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.

  Accurately document repairs and preventive maintenance in the EAM system to meet audit requirements.

  
  
• 
  

  Promote and implement 5S principles to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  Identify and execute process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.

  Provide hands-on support and training to maintenance technicians.

  Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
