Temporary Electrical Project Engineer (Construction) - Boise, ID Take the next step in your engineering career with an exciting temporary opportunity supporting a large-scale construction project near Boise, Idaho. We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Project Engineer to help coordinate electrical systems, support project startup activities, and ensure quality throughout the construction process. What You'll Do Support electrical quality control, project documentation, commissioning, and punch-list activities. Coordinate electrical systems with mechanical, structural, and architectural components. Review construction drawings, technical documents, submittals, RFIs, and change documentation. Facilitate startup meetings and assist with coordinating subcontractors, project teams, utility providers, and owners. Track project progress, maintain records, prepare meeting minutes, schedules, and activity reports. Utilize construction technology including BIM, Bluebeam, laser scanning, Revit, AutoCAD, and project management software. Provide technical support to field teams and assist with startup and training activities for completed electrical systems. Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience considered. Experience supporting commercial or industrial construction projects. Ability to interpret construction documents, specifications, and blueprints. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, Navisworks, and scheduling software such as Primavera P6. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills. Physical Requirements Ability to access active construction sites, including stairs and ladders. Capable of standing, walking, and sitting throughout the workday. Occasionally lift and carry materials or equipment up to 50 pounds. Flexibility to work overtime or adjusted schedules as project needs require.
