Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is actively hiring a UAS Technical Manager to join our team in Summit Point, WV.Qualified candidates must be US citizens with the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust. Responsibilities: Strong small Unmanned Aircraft System (sUAS) expertise. Observe and report on small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) technology demonstrations and Test and Evaluation (T&E) programs and projects for senior Law Enforcement Executives. Track ongoing RDT&E, technology demonstrations, and T&E activities to assess viability of deployment and operational capabilities of COTS, GOTS, and integrated sUAS systems. Leverage comprehensive understanding of legal exemptions regarding sUAS, to include: Title 6, 124n; Title 10 130i, as well as Executive Orders 14305 and 14307 Coordinate operational plan (OPLAN) information with Office of Chief Counsel and Office of General Counsel for approval. Required Qualifications:* 8+ years of relevant experience. Interdisciplinary systems engineering lifecycle skillsets with knowledge of sUAS technologies. Understanding of law enforcement CONOPS, particularly regarding sUAS. Have the ability to understand a wide array of technologies and how they communicate. Strong understanding of geospatial analysis and applications. Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Demonstrate a high level of initiative and be a self-starter, solution seeker. Must be a team player who promotes cross-functional collaboration and maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment. Must understand how to work and brief effectively with high level Government staff. Education Requirements:* Bachelor's degree. Clearance Requirements:* Qualified candidates must be US citizens with the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust.
