Jr. Visual Specialist

Aquent is partnering with a leading global beauty and personal care brand known for its popular products and engaging retail experiences. We are seeking a detail-oriented Jr. Visual Specialist to support the Visual Merchandising team in Reynoldsburg, OH. This part-time, onsite opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on retail merchandising, organizing product displays, and bringing visual concepts to life. You'll play an important role in ensuring merchandising displays are accurately executed and maintained according to company standards.

About the Role

As a Jr. Visual Specialist, you will support the Visual Team with setting up, taking down, and maintaining merchandising displays within the company's Lab Store. Working from established visual guidelines, you'll help arrange fixtures and wall cabinets, prepare product samples, install marketing materials, and keep the backroom organized. This is a hands-on, individual contributor position reporting to a Senior Specialist. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, flexible, and comfortable adapting to changing priorities in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup, teardown, and ongoing maintenance of merchandising displays within the Lab Store, ensuring alignment with company standards.
• Set and arrange fixtures and wall cabinets according to visual merchandising guidelines provided by the Visual Team.
• Support the installation of marketing materials, signage, and visual elements on fixtures and within wall cabinets.
• Coordinate and gather product samples needed for merchandising displays and upcoming visual updates.
• Apply product identification stickers, referred to as "paper dolls," to represent new products that are not yet available.
• Maintain an organized backroom, including product inventory, samples, and merchandising materials.
• Assist with visual merchandising updates, display changes, and resets as needed.
• Collaborate with the Visual Team to ensure displays are completed accurately and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail merchandising, visual merchandising, or a related retail environment.
• Experience setting up retail displays, arranging merchandise, or executing visual merchandising guidelines.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and visual guidelines while maintaining company standards.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and merchandising needs.
• Availability to work part-time, onsite in Reynoldsburg, OH.

A Day in the Life

Your day will involve working alongside the Visual Team to bring merchandising displays to life within the Lab Store. You may start by setting fixtures and arranging products in wall cabinets using provided visual guidelines, then move on to organizing backroom inventory or gathering product samples for upcoming displays. You'll also help prepare mock products by applying stickers, install marketing materials, and assist with display updates or resets. Throughout the day, you'll work closely with the team to ensure everything is organized, accurately presented, and ready for review.
