Overview We have an exciting opportunity in our CEC Wixom office for a passionate and motivated project manager to join our growing solid waste engineering team. You'll work primarily on Michigan solid waste projects, and will also support our waste practice team located across the CEC geographic footprint. Projects will involve completing engineering tasks such as airspace, excavation, and fill volume calculations, preparation, review and compilation of technical reports, stormwater management system design, landfill grading, and leachate and landfill gas collection system design. You will assist our waste management clients by providing day-to-day operational support, as well as manage Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for landfill cell, final cover and gas system expansion construction projects. You will also assist our engineering team with site development and geotechnical engineering projects. You will interact with CEC office and field staff, clients and contractors and your efforts will be part of the overall completion of design/permitting, construction and certification projects. Qualifications
A minimum of 10 years' experience with landfill engineering projects (Michigan preferred);
