Course themes couldinclude areas in documentary/essay, dramatic fiction, animation, experimental or other expanded digital-media practices. Technique centered courses in cinematography, sound design and post-production also considered.Studiocoursedesign should integrate theoretical and critical approaches to media studyinto hands-on production technique and forms.Applicants should demonstrate creative and technical expertise, but also a strong commitment to teaching media production within a liberal and fine arts curriculum at a large, diverse, public research university. General Duties: In addition to teaching responsibilities and demonstration of production technologiesgeneral duties include holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and interacting with students outside of class time via email and campus web-based course resources.
