Job Summary: Harrisburg Area Community College (EMS) is seeking multiple, part-time Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) at the Campus for events and standbys.

The applicant must hold current certifications for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an EMT, emergency vehicle operator, and be currently certified in BLS CPR. This position requires operation of motor vehicle as part of the job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.

Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and will be reviewed as the need arises.

Minimum Qualifications:

-The applicant must hold current certifications for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an EMT or higher, emergency vehicle operator, and be certified in BLS CPR.
-This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties
-A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks

Licensing Requirements: The applicant must hold current certifications for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as an EMT and an emergency vehicle operator and be currently certified in BLS CPR and possess a valid Drivers License.

  • Provide basic life support and gather patient data - (Essential)
  • Document patient information, condition, and treatment - (Essential)
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and perform all care with respect for patient rights - (Essential)
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked environment for patients - (Essential)
  • Operate and drive QRS in conjunction with applicable safety policies and laws - (Essential)
  • Accountable for satisfying all job-specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures - (Essential)
  • Applying applicable laws, codes, regulations, policies, and/or procedures - (Essential)
