Krispy Kreme's Development Value Engineer is responsible for identifying optimization opportunities in each country to streamline construction processes and reduce expenses. This individual will be committed to creating great experiences for our customers inside and out of our shops.

A TASTE OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Analyze and compare costs across different markets to identify patterns and trends:
  • Gather and organize company data from various sources.
  • Utilize historical data on construction costs across various markets.
  • Conduct interviews with stakeholders involved in restaurant design and construction to gather insights and perspectives.
  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvement:
  • Segment project into various cost type (i.e. general contractor, FF&E (Food Service Equipment, Millwork, Technology, Other), and soft costs.
  • Provide detailed breakdown of cost savings opportunities for each of the areas.
  • Review high dollar items with procurement for potential savings (i.e. Hot Light, digital menu boards)
  • Partner with design team to ensure cost savings opportunities are included in future projects.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Data Science, or related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Business Intelligence, Snowflake, Oracle, etc.
  • Proven expertise in construction and pricing analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry practices and trends.
  • Experience in analyzing construction costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Experience working for a QSR and/or franchisee.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • This position has the ability to sit remotely in the U.S.
