Hourly pay rate: $26.03 to $28.76

A little about this position:
  • Oversees all aspects of timing for a variety of races and events, runs the equipment and times the actual events.
  • Acts as Chief of Timing and Calculations for USSS/FIS sanctioned events.
  • Is responsible for the accuracy and precision of all timing data.
  • Is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of all types timing equipment and the wiring system.
  • Is responsible for the training, education, and scheduling of the timing staff.
  • Assists in all other aspects of event/race production as needed.

Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent experience.
  • Computer literate, highly organized, accurate, precision and a strong math background a must.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with race officials, coaching staff and racers.
  • Knowledge of Split Second Timing programs, race procedures and regulations and experience in this field.
  • Good skiing or snowboarding skills required.
  • Ability to do general repairs on timing equipment and an electronics background.
  • Snowmobile experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of race procedures and regulations.
  • USSS membership, official's license, T & C certified. (Proper training, license and certification can be obtained once hired.)
