Primary Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to: Packages powder and maintains the associated paperwork without being supervised. Essential Functions: Operate, monitor and maintain equipment and paperwork for packaging powders without being supervised. Upon completion of packing powder obtain a peer to perform count-out, and have count-out verified by peer. Bin locate material packages. Pack to order and complete packing detail to match. Assist in the order processing when needed. Receive incoming materials and outgoing orders as well as learn basics of hazardous and non- hazardous outgoing shipments. Must ensure proper use of Forklifts, scales, vacuums, hand tools, vibrators, wheel dolly, hand pallet jack, hoist, drum dolly, calculator, packaging machine, glue gun and banding machine. Complete other work duties as assigned. Will Cross Train in other positions/departments as assigned. Non-essential Functions Required and must perform various types of duties assigned by the department foreperson/leadperson. Maintain machines, equipment and work area for cleanliness and efficient operation. Must assist with minor maintenance such as painting, oiling, cleaning, and adjustments. Minimum Qualifications: Experience in a similar or same work environment Education: High School Working Hours and Conditions, including Travel Required: Heavy physical demands. Lifting 44 to 69 lbs. for most of the day. High stress depending on production. Optional to wear dust mask due to Nickel, Chrome, Cobalt, Iron, Silicon, and Copper elements. Ability to calculate and determine exact weights of materials inbound and out bound. Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures to daily tasks. Ability to conform to established quality control standards and procedures. Ability to drive a stand-up forklifts and sit-down forklifts.
