90% FTE, evening/night shift, every other weekend. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU to:

• Provide care for critically ill newborns, infants and their families across the continuum of care, from admission to discharge.
• This 26-bed NICU is a model for patient-and family-centered care.
• Provide care for infants requiring the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a wide variety of medical and surgical complexities.

Education:

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months relevant nursing experience.

Preferred - Previous NICU experience and current Level III or IV NICU experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin and CPR certification. NRP Certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred - NRP Certification.
