90% FTE, evening/night shift, every other weekend. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will be working at American Family Children's Hospital in Madison, WI. We offer a competitive starting pay, relevant work experience will be considered, this position also includes a shift/weekend differential.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - NICU to:



  • Provide care for critically ill newborns, infants and their families across the continuum of care, from admission to discharge.
  • This 26-bed NICU is a model for patient-and family-centered care.
  • Provide care for infants requiring the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a wide variety of medical and surgical complexities.

Education:

Preferred - Baccalaureate degree in nursing.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Six (6) months relevant nursing experience.

Preferred - Previous NICU experience and current Level III or IV NICU experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin and CPR certification. NRP Certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred - NRP Certification.
