Overview Winter 24-25 New Graduate RN - Stanly Adult Acute Care Are you a nursing student about to complete your RN education program or a recent graduate with less than six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking full-time New Grad RNs for our Adult Acute Care Residency at Atrium Health Stanly. Atrium Health Stanly Med Surg Unit is a 66-bed medical/surgical unit serving inpatient patients with acute and/or chronic illnesses. This department nurse partners with our hospitalist team and other disciplines to manage a variety of diagnosis and treatments, including chest tubes, NG tubes, nephro tubes, central lines, wound vacs, surgical drains, and colostomies. Our team encourages professional development through participation in shared governance, Unit Coordinating Council, continuing education, and professional certification. The ideal candidate for our team is positive, engaged, and a team player. Job Summary The RN Clinical Nurse I provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with facility or department policies procedures, and/or protocols under the supervision of the nursing leader. Assists in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner.
