The PMO Senior Project Manager will directly support the VP of Quality in department-wide project management activities as well as supplemental operational support. Responsibilities will include assisting quality leadership with project management and oversight of various QI projects, relating but not limited to external reporting entities; communicating with system leaders regarding project tasks, risks, and issues; and assisting with project metrics and other data and reporting needs. The QI project specialist will be integral to project management and reporting of the department's initiatives throughout the project lifecycle (identification, project request intake, project delivery, and monitoring).

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop, implement, and monitor quality improvement initiatives and projects to meet organizational goals
  2. Serve as the main point of contact for all quality improvement activities, coordinating with different departments as needed
  3. Prepare, analyze, and distribute project updates and performance reports to all stakeholders
  4. Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior leadership, regularly reporting on project status and outcomes.
  5. Collaborate closely with project teams to assist in the development of project plans, helping to identify potential risks and mitigation strategies
  6. Assist in the identification of best practices and continuous improvement opportunities
  7. Develop and deliver QI training to staff members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
  8. Collaborate with leadership to include quality considerations in strategic planning and decision-making processes
  9. Utilize data analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and evaluate the effectiveness of QI initiatives

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare services administration, business administration, or related field.
  2. Minimum one year of experience related to quality, project management, and/or accreditation experience
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Preferred:

  1. Experience with project management tools
  2. PMP certification
  3. Previous experience or training with Monday.com
