JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Two NIH-funded post-doctoral positions in molecular microbiology are available in laboratory of Mauricio H. Pontes at the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA.. We seek motivated scientists to join a research program focused on investigating mechanisms used by symbiotic and pathogenic intracellular bacteria to maintain cellular homeostasis and interact with their eukaryotic host-cells. Design and conduct rigorous and original scientific research by designing, performing and interpreting experiments. Actively participate in the writing of research manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication.
