Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary for Facilities Maintenance Technician:

This role reports directly to the Director of Facilities Operations Officer; an individual in this role will assist with the daily and ongoing preventative maintenance of all WSB locations.

Duties and responsibilities Facilities Maintenance Technician:

• Knowledge and basic understanding of HVAC: to include minor troubleshooting, reboots, etc; Ability to learn or know building automation controls.
• Basic electrical skills, light fixture repair, change out, ballasts, bulbs
• Plumbing-Toilet repair, faucet repair/replace, drain cleaning
• Understanding of security aspects and importance of why
• Shared on call responsibility
• Flexible work hours
• Trouble shooting ability
• Other duties as assigned
• Back up for Mail Room Courier duties

Qualifications Facilities Maintenance Technician:

Experience

Required

• 3-5 year's experience in commercial office maintenance,

Education

• High School

Preferred

• High School 3 years minimum field experience
• Additional education and/or experience: Basic computer skills, Outlook, and willingness to learn and adapt to other programs used in this position.

Working conditions

Include if necessary or remove, based on job responsibilities: Additionally, an individual must be flexible in work schedule and have the ability to travel between office locations with a company vehicle. A valid driver's license is required. Driving record must be in accordance with WSB's Vehicle Safety Policy.
