The Cardiovascular Division at the University of Minnesota is seeking a faculty member to join our nationally and internationally recognized Interventional Cardiology Program. We are seeking a board certified/eligible Interventional (non-structural) Cardiologist at the Assistant/Associate or Full Professor rank on an academic track. The goal of this recruitment is to support the growth and expertise of interventional cardiology clinical care, teaching, and research. This position requires interest in mechanical circulatory support, including ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) and cardiovascular resuscitation. The successful candidate will become a member of the most advance mobile ECPR, acute cardiac care team in the world. In addition to regular interventional cardiology related work, they will actively participate in rapid deployment with the medical resuscitation team to multiple emergency departments, cath labs and will operate in the first mobile ECMO truck in the Unites States. In addition, they will be involved in all clinical, translational and database related research in this field and become an active member of the Center for Resuscitation Medicine in the University of Minnesota Medical School. Pay and Benefits: This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for this position is $379,053-$677,365 commensurate with experience, qualifications, and cFTE.
