The Division of Neonatology at the University of Minnesota is seeking a full time board certified/eligible Neonatal-Perinatal Physician at the Assistant Professor rank on an academic or master clinician track (track to be determined by qualification and interest). The Division is dedicated to providing innovative care, conducting research, and instructing skills to recognize and treat medical problems of the neonate. About the Appointment:
About the Division: The University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital is nationally ranked as one of the best Children's Hospitals with special recognition in five sub-specialties, including Neonatology (source: 2018 US News and World Report). The Division is a national leader in providing innovative care, conducting research, and instructing skills to recognize and treat medical problems of the neonate. The Division participates fully in the Department of Pediatrics mission, focusing its attention through patient care, instructing and research on medical problems that arise during infancy and the consequences of disease that persist into later life. The Division serves as a resource for other NICU's for infants with multi-organ system failure, complex diagnostic and surgical problems, and long-term, technology-dependent conditions. Pay and Benefits: This role is dually employed by University of Minnesota Physicians and the University of Minnesota. Total salary is market competitive and based on AAMC salary benchmarks. Clinical salary, aligned with clinical effort, is provided through M Physicians. The base salary range for the clinical effort of this position is $246,242 - $396,789 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
