Job Description

Sellers & Associates, LLC (S&A) is seeking aQuality Assurance Technician to work at our client's site inPearl City, HI.

The QA Technician/Oversight Representative will provide quality assurance, oversight, and work controls for mission-critical assets to ensure first-time quality maintenance and operational readiness.

Responsibilities:



  • Serve as the QA subject matter expert (SME) supporting certification programs for various assets.
  • Ensure all required maintenance activities align with certification standards and compliance requirements.
  • Review, approve, and validate QA-controlled work packages and exemptions for adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide technical support for systems, equipment, and operational platforms.
  • Develop, assess, and implement QA policies, procedures, training, and maintenance strategies.
  • Conduct internal QA assessments, inspections, and evaluations to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
  • Review technical documentation, including blueprints, manuals, and procedures, for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct training programs on certification processes, QA standards, and maintenance best practices for teams and leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage custody transfers, compliance requirements, and operational logistics.
  • Ensure documentation, maintenance records, and compliance reports are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:



  • Active Secret Clearance
  • 7-10+ years of direct QA oversight experience, preferably 10+ years in a military or defense contracting environment.
  • Hands-on experience conducting QA inspections, maintenance audits, and assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of technical documentation, blueprints, testing procedures, and maintenance work package requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Adobe Professional).
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and perform physical inspections aboard naval vessels and maintenance facilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferably Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Military/Technical Studies).
  • Prior active-duty military experience supporting Naval Special Warfare (NSW) programs.
  • Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in Certification Program Plans (CPPs) and Technical Maintenance Manual Authority.
  • Experience with Naval QA programs, Scope of Certification (SOC), and deep submergence systems.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma).



Salary information below is a general guide only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as business and market considerations.

Salary Range:$110,000 - $145,000
