Under the direction of the Manager, Director of Orthopedic Services, and Physician Director, the Nurse Coordinator works collaboratively with physician leaders, physicians, and staff of the Orthopedic program to ensure goals and objectives are successfully met. The primary role of the Nurse Coordinator is to maintain communication with patients, families, staff, and providers in order to ensure coordination of patient care across the continuum. Qualifications EDUCATION Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Connecticut RN license EXPERIENCE A minimum of three (3) years experience in adult orthopedic acute care inpatient services, ambulatory or critical care. LICENSURE RN license in the State of Connecticut SPECIAL SKILLS Knowledge of orthopedic procedures and surgeries. Excellent collaborative, communication, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to triage non-urgent and emergent situations. Additional Information minimum 1 year experience in orthopedic preferred. at least 2 years' experience in nursing, ambulatory experience preferred. YNHHS Requisition ID 129392 |
