Sr. Project Planner/Project Manager

Summary:Under the general direction of the Planning Group Manager (PGM), we are seeking a Senior Project Planner/Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the strategic planning, design, and direction of various projects. They should be a motivated, hands-on Planner who can work both independently and collaboratively to meet time-sensitive deadlines.Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and direct various planning projects.
• Demonstrate supervisory skills, strategic project management abilities, and the capacity to market services, negotiate contracts, and acquire clients.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to meet time-sensitive deadlines.
• Lead a team of Planners and demonstrate the ability to plan, communicate, and execute solid performance.

Minimum Qualifications:Education and Experience:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field from an accredited university is required.
2. A Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a closely related field is preferred. Alternatively, a combination of eight or more years of progressive urban and regional planning experience can be considered.
3. The candidate should have experience in at least three areas of urban and regional planning, including transportation, environmental, land use, and government and private sector planning.
