Job Skills/Requirements
Responsibilities:

  • Assist supervisor in monitoring production personnel. Equipment and materials.
  • Assist in communicating production priorities and procedures.
  • Provides assistance on production lines in problem areas.
  • Identifies material required for next run and ensures availability
  • Assist supervisor in identifying required personnel assignment and monitors for effectiveness.
  • Identifies equipment set-up requirements and assist supervisor in communicating procedures.
  • Monitors product to ensure acceptable quality throughout process.
  • Assist supervisor with training

* Makes check of equipment operation prior to scheduled run and communication needs to supervisor and maintenance.
Work is performed on 12 hour rotating shifts. Operation is 7 days a week

* Assist line in preparation of product change over's

  • Pull 160 lbs. to 450 lbs. blankets from blanket cart to blanket skid.
  • Check the resin gun for proper spray pattern.
  • Check to see hat the tilt hood is down, the catch cart is in proper position and anything else is clear of the drum.

Pull back the chute and gather the fibers and break off the excess so that they do not hit the drum. When gathering the fibers, take them from the side closest to the drum and pull them towards you in a smooth motion. Do not keep your hands directly under the furnace for any period of time.

  • Pull the fibers until they are ready to be put on the drum. Break off the excess fibers so they do not touch the drum.
  • Provides assistance on production lines in problem areas.
  • Identifies equipment set-up requirements and assist supervisor in communicating procedures.
  • Monitors product to ensure acceptable quality throughout process.

Requirements

Requirements:
High school diploma or GED; Minimum 2 years recent (within 1 year) manufacturing experience; Basic computer knowledge; Excellent mechanical aptitude and experience with equipment.

Minimum one (1) year forklift experience.
