The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary The Office of Interdisciplinary Engagement (OIE) builds the Columbia Climate School's capacity for trans-disciplinary collaboration, drives engagement across the University, and incubates and delivers partnerships and initiatives to support the Climate School's pathways to impact. The Senior Program Manager will manage administrative and operational processes, providing strong project management, budget oversight, and communication skills to the office's rapidly growing portfolio. The OIE leads a number of cross-functional initiatives at the Climate School; the Senior Program Manager will play a critical role in growing existing initiatives and developing new ones. The Senior Program Manager will bring a strategic and detail-oriented mindset to managing office functions and multiple projects, along with a willingness to experiment and build a new office within a new school, as a critical member of a creative, supportive, and fast-moving team.
