Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent Care

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a civilian Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Urgent Care at the Fairfax Health Center in Fairfax, Virginia to support active duty, qualifying veterans and their dependents. This is a part time opportunity- approximately 4 days a week. This is your chance to join a fantastic team and work among our nation's best!

Scheduling

• Urgent Care hours are of 7am to 8pm Monday through Friday & 8am to 2pm on Saturday.

Aspects of the UCC

• 2-3 patients per hour
• Extension of the ED at Ft. Belvoir
• If a patient is presented that exceeds the scope that can be seen in the clinic, patient is transferred to the nearest ED
• BLS only facility-No crash carts
• Will not typically see overflow from our primary clinics
• Support staff (Nursing & MA)
• Stable culture with Senior Physician & Nursing leadership

Job Requirements:

• All active State licenses accepted
• At least 2 years of experience working in Urgent Care / ER
• Active BLS certifications
• Active DEA registration
