Job Summary: Provide horticultural expertise in conjunction with the installation, troubleshooting, construction, maintenance, and repair of facilities. This includes production, design, culture, and identification of plants and gardens. Position may serve as lead worker, assigning and reviewing work and providing direction and instruction to others; and may assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment. Minimum Qualifications: Associate's Degree and 3 years experience. Or a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job. Licensing Requirements: Valid Driver's License. - Provides horticultural expertise and researches trends and materials to plan, design, and develop new plants, crops, gardens, and container gardens; perform garden renovations and other special projects. - (Essential)
- Landscapes and maintains grounds, gardens, and plant collections using a variety of hand or power tools or grounds equipment. - (Essential)
- Performs greenhouse production/propagation of annuals, tropicals, perennials, and shrubs as needed for campus gardens. - (Essential)

- Assist in scheduling and monitoring work performed by outside contractors. - (Essential)
- Maintains and repairs assigned equipment as needed; performs ongoing checks to determine need and ensure operational safety. - (Essential)
