Collaborates with industry leading companies to create smiles through authentic experiences that invite everyone to engage with Nintendo characters and worlds. Extend the reach of Nintendo Intellectual Property through direct-to-consumer and licensed products, partner marketing efforts for Nintendo licensed merchandise, video game accessories, and other IP initiatives. Responsible for driving and managing Nintendo's merchandise business, inclusive of amplifying partner marketing programs to enhance consumer awareness, affinity, and engagement with the Nintendo brand, products, services, and experiences.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Oversees project planning, organization and related project resources for identified projects ensuring project implementations are on time, on budget, and of high quality.
  • Interfaces regularly with senior management to provide strategic and tactical advice on resource utilization, program/project planning and execution.
  • Directs project management expansion initiatives across NOA organization including; project leadership, education and cultivation of project management within NOA environment through project and programs.
  • Responsible for day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions related to the project management program, including developing, implementing and evaluating program policies, procedures and standards; determining program service levels.
  • Analyzes and proposes solutions to complex problems: Conducts analysis of data or situation and makes recommendations to achieve best results.
  • Provides frequent status updates. Creates status dashboards to show the overall health, trending on budget, scope, issues, and risks and results for stakeholders.
  • Evaluates and mitigates risks. Identifies points of potential failure on a project to course correct to mitigate the project going off track.
  • Leads ongoing PDCA efforts through the design and implementation of project review and continuous improvement processes; Tracks efforts, manages results and provides recommendations for improvement and implements deliverables.
  • Participates in departmental planning, budgeting and development.
  • Manages assigned project managers and associated staff, including monitoring and evaluating performance and creation and implementation of development plans.

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:


  • Ten or more years of related project management experience.
  • Five to seven years of personnel management experience.
  • Excellent understanding and experience using project management principles.
  • Requires experience of NOA and Nintendo Company Limited (NCL) corporate structure, objectives and initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of NOA and NCL business structures.
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
  • Flexible working hours to accommodate broad range of stakeholders at NOA, NCL and Latin America.
  • Windows based PC experience, including MS Office, MS Project software, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent.
  • PM certification or equivalent preferred.

This position is hybrid in Redmond, WA. Hybrid positions require regular onsite work following the schedule and guidelines for their division. This position is not open to fully remote status at this time.
This position includes a base salary range of $164,500 - $296,000 annually, potential for a semi-annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off.
