Your role at Baxter:

Directly supervises and supports a staff of employees assigned to various jobs such as receiving, shipping, customer orders, and/or replenishment. This position is responsible for ensuring that customer orders, complaints, and requests are processed in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.

What you'll be doing:

  • Supervise distribution of all products from the warehouse and employee workload as the need arises to optimize staff efficiency.
  • Develop and implement effective systems and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the operation. Monitor warehouse services and settle the best methods to overcome obstacles while maintaining acceptable service levels.
  • Insure all new employees are accurately trained. Serve as customer concern point for employees with problems. Take proactive steps as appropriate.
  • Review and answer inquiries from customer service, customers, sales, vendors, and management. Use judgment and subtlety to handle complaints and resolve issues.
  • Responsible for implementing procedures to meet federal, state, company, and facility regulations. Coordinate and support all standard operating and quality procedures.
  • Assist in the supervision of product recalls, field corrective actions, and product returns.
  • May participate in budget and forecasting processes along with other projects as requested.
  • Must have excellent social skills both oral and written along with proven ability to implement change.
  • Must be able to prioritize and lead a number of ongoing issues, meet deadlines, and communicate with senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with spreadsheets and word processing applications required.

What you'll bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a distribution environment.
  • Experience Operating Powered Industrial Equipment, preferred.
  • Strong organizational, leadership and social skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to use enterprise.
  • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written along with proven ability implement change.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage a number of ongoing issues, meet deadlines, and communicate with senior management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with spreadsheets and word processing applications, required.
  • Proven track record of interpersonal and leadership skills with ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $72,000.00 - $99,000.00 USD annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
